We’re an international bunch here at TechnoBuffalo towers, so this particular article applies to our beloved UK readers.

TVCatchup is a service that touts itself as a free-of-charge online TV streaming service, with no strings attached. Sounds good right? It gets better. Not only is their app entirely web-based, they also have an iPhone optimised version of a handful of their channels. Essentially it’s a free way to stream freeview channels through the internet, on your Mac or PC.

Unfortunately their website is a little cryptic, so there isn’t much information past the obvious, but here are the highlights:

  • Over 30 channels including: BBC One, ITV2, Channel 4, Five, Dave, CBeebies, 4Music and Film 4.
  • Optimised streaming using their patented technology to deliver picture quality currently unavailable online.
  • Free of charge and easy to use.
