Agent 47's latest walkthrough video for the game Hitman: Absolution has the well polished assassin talking down a gangster boss' son and his posse of street level thugs called "The Cougars." Game Director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour of the community team at IO Interactive narrate the 17 minute mission, describing in full detail the mechanics behind the five kills they make and the consequences of forgetting the environments around them.

The narrators admit the game is being played on an expert difficulty setting, so their intimate knowledge will make it difficult for newcomers to replicate their skills. Hitman games are not knowing for their "pick-up-and-play" approach, but rather for their trial-and-error method of playing a level to its perfection.

Still, despite obviously knowing exactly where and when to be at a location, Hitman: Absolution's missions streamline the action much more than others in the series. The point system relaxes a bit from the strict scoring system from Hitman 2 as well.

The large open levels put a lot of emphasis on getting around guards and never attracting too much attention in the city. As with most other assassination games, hiding bodies and making deaths seem like an accident solves the problem of getting around much more than a guns-blazing assault.

Still, you gotta wonder how many times you have to play that level to make it go so smoothly…

Hitman: Absolution will be released on November 20th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
