T-Mobile recently issued an update for the Galaxy Note II that allows it to access its new 4G LTE network. It’s active in NYC today, but it will be locked until the official launch later this spring. Still, we had a chance to give the network a whirl to see how the phone stacks up. In the tests we performed ourselves (you’ll see a list of other tests) we saw the network peak at 57.99Mbps down and 20.16Mbps up. That’s pretty stunning, but keep in mind that the network isn’t yet open to the public so it’s not being slammed by millions of users just yet.
