Sprint’s LG Optimus G lands on November 11 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. But you know us, we thought we’d jump the gun a bit and bring you a hands-on video and gallery with the new Android smartphone as soon as possible. There’s a lot to love about the Optimus G on Sprint.
It has a super fast quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz, a 4.7-inch True IPS HD display that’s one of the finest we’ve ever gazed upon, an incredible industrial design that includes a glass back and frontg and a 13-megapixel camera. Unfortunately, you can’t expand the storage on Sprint’s model, but it still comes with 32GB on board.
We love the device, especially LG’s QuickMemo software, which allows you to draw on any screen and save it as an image, but it runs the older Android ICS operating system instead of Jelly Bean. That’s not a deal breaker, though, and we’ll discuss the pros and cons in much more detail in our full review. In the meantime, enjoy the gallery below and the video above.
