The Samsung Galaxy Grand, announced late last year, fits very neatly in between the company’s Galaxy S III and immense Galaxy Note II. That means, of course, that this 5-inch device could be that “just right” size for consumers who who don’t want a 4.8 or 5.5-inch device. So is the Grand the best of both of those worlds?

From what we can tell, the Grand is very specifically targeted toward frequent globe trotters, or maybe someone who wants to separate personal use from business—thus the dual SIM design. Hang out in the U.S. one week and skip over to the U.K. the next. You can because there are two SIM slots which, why not? No more painful roaming charges for you.

Specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera (2-megapixel front), Bluetooth 4.0, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage and HSPA+ 21Mbps support. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is also present, along with several TouchWiz features such as Multi Window and Smart Alert.
