Samsung ATIV Odyssey Unboxing: A Galaxy S III Mini With WP8
By Jon Rettinger | 646
Samsung’s ATIV Odyssey, hitting Verizon on Jan. 24 for $50 with two-year contract, is in the TechnoBuffalo offices, ready to unbox. If you’ve held Samsung’s Galaxy S III Mini, this is basically that form factor, complete with 4-inch screen, but with Windows Phone 8 under the hood.
We haven’t given this one a thorough run through, so we justify a final opinion. But for the price—it’s actually $50 after mail-in-rebate—we’d recommend going with the HTC Windows Phone 8X or Nokia Lumia 920. Still, for those loyal to the Samsung brand, the Odyssey seems like an adequate budget Windows Phone 8 handset.
