Razer Edge Pro Windows 8 Gaming Tablet Hands-On

By | +

Brandon Russell and I had a chance to swing by Razer’s booth on the CES show floor to check out Razer’s Windows 8 tablet. “Razer, the gaming company?” Yep. That Razer, the one that’s perhaps best known for it’s amazing gaming mice and keyboards. The tablet is amazing. I want one now amazing.

On the high end, it packs an Intel Core i7 dual-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz, 8GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GT 540M LE graphics chip, Windows 8, a 265GB SSD and a 10.1-inch display with a 1366x 768-pixel resolution. The gaming experience was incredible and is, by far, the best we’ve ever seen from a tablet. Plus we loved that it can be purchased with a keyboard accessory, or even a dual-controller holding pad that’s super easy to use, even if it does look a bit awkward.

Check out our video above for more information on the tablet. It’s a bit pricey, in the $1,400+ range on the high-end, but dang, it’s nice.
