LG unveiled the Optimus F7 right before Mobile World Congress, and we finally had a chance to see it close up. Most enthusiasts will probably prefer the larger and more powerful Optimus G Pro, but the F7 fits in as a relatively solid mid-range device and is more powerful than the Optimus F5.
It offers a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.7-inch display, 8GB of internal and expandable storage, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3-front-facing shooter for video chat. It also runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and, with all of that power under the hood, moves through applications really fluidly.
We’re not sure if the F7 will land in the United States, but we hope it does because it’s a great and powerful alternative to the massive-screen behemoths that typically take all of the attention.
