iRig HD: Record Your Music on the Go

By | +

The iRig HD, announced at NAMM on Thursday, is the follow up to IK Multimedia’s popular iRig guitar interface adapter. Set for a Spring 2013 launch (no price has been revealed), the device is designed to allow musicians who own a Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch record their next big hit on the go.

Built with a high-quality instrument level 1/4-inch Hi-Z input jack, the iRig HD is a simple plug and play tool that plugs directly into a Lightning, 30-pin, or USB connector. Not only does it offer a user friendly interface in its own right, the gadget can be used with AmpliTube for effects, or GarageBand for processing.

Additionally, the iRig HD has a high-quality 24 bit converter for top notch sound, onboard gain control, low power consumer circuit for improved battery, and a minimal footprint for easy portability.
