We haven’t had the opportunity to test out performance yet, but we’re excited to see what this puppy can do. For anyone who consumes gobs of media (video editors in particular), and needs a failsafe (and fast) way to backup data, the Drobo Mini is a nice little system that’s certainly an investment—the enclosure itself costs $649. When you add drives to the mix, you’re edging toward a grand or more. But all in the name of piece of mind.
