The most notable (and hated) feature of the original BlackBerry Storm was its SurePress screen. Many users complained that the keyboard input was inaccurate as a result of the SurePress sensor because it required the user to type each key slower, as to allow the screen to pop back up after each depression. Another big flaw of the Storm 1 was the recessed screen, which easily trapped dirt and debris.
In this video we compare the Storm 1 with the Storm 2. The second time around, BlackBerry has revamped the SurePres screen to include four sensors, allowing for more accurate (and comfortable) text entry. They’ve also made changes to the hardware by leaving fewer spaces for debris to collect.
Are the changes enough to make you consider a Storm 2?
