Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 Sneaks Through FCC Sporting AT&T 4G LTE Logo

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 on AT&TSamsung’s popular Galaxy Tab 10.1 appears to be headed to AT&T, according to new FCC documents. While there has been no announcement from either Samsung or AT&T, the filing does reveal the device’s model number, SGH-i957, and a plain-as-day 4G LTE logo on it’s behind.

Since hitting the scene earlier this year, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been one of the more successful and better received Android tablets to hit the market. As AT&T begins to roll out a true 4G network, the yet unannounced device looks to be a nice alternative to the premium priced, $849 without contract and $699 with, HTC Jetstream.

The pricing for Verizon’s 4G LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1 puts it at $529 with a two-year agreement and $699 contract-free, so hopefully AT&T’s offering will be similarly priced.

Once we have confirmation on whether or not the device is indeed hitting Ma Bell’s network we’ll be sure to let you know, so stay tuned.
