Acer Debuting CloudMobile Smartphone at Mobile World Congress

Acer is expected to announce a new CloudMobile smartphone at Mobile World Congress later this month. The company outed the handset a bit early by bragging about it winning the iF design award 2012, in recognition of outstanding achievement in design.

Besides the fact that it has what is apparently a pretty impressive design, we don’t know a ton more about the phone. Pocket-lint is reporting that the flagship handset will measure in at just 10mm thick and will come running Ice Cream Sandwich, have a 4.3-inch HD display and Dolby sound. The phone will also be the first smartphone to offer AcerCloud, which the company claims “enhances mobile productivity by providing seamless document management.”

TechnoBuffalo will be live at Mobile World Congress later this month and will bring you all the details on the phone when they’re available.
