Infinity Blade 2 Announced at Apple’s Press Conference

As part of the iPhone 4S updates today, Apple broke out some gameplay by way of demo for Infinity Blade 2. This iOS brand from Epic Games is getting a sequel, and Apple used it to show off the hardware’s performance during their presser earlier today.

Mike Capps, President of Epic Games, played the demo on stage for those at the conference.

It’s worth noting that, throughout the demo of the game, the reaction from bloggers and fans was that the performance and display was technically unimpressive in relative comparison to the original product. Still strong, yes, but not better by leaps and bounds.

While Apple and Capps may have been saying it was fantastic, the audience seemed a bit disinterested.

Still, this franchise stands as a favorite amongst the core game audience for the iOS platform. Will it be one you’ll look to pick up upon its release?

Infinity Blade 2 is set to launch on December 1st.
