Greetings and salutations, friends. This is a friendly reminder that those Portal 2 fans among us should disregard every bit of Apple news set to drop in a few minutes and fire up their gaming platforms.

The first batch of Portal 2 DLC, called “Peer Review,” is currently available now for Steam (on PC and Mac), Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This pack features both cooperative and single player gaming opportunities. The coop section will pit gamers in the place of the two testing bots as they aid GlaDOS in her further struggles to push out on the boundaries of science. The gaming will supposedly happen on a brand new, “mysterious” test track.

The single player component is a new challenge mode.

This DLC was originally slated for the summer months, but it seems Valve missed their window by a few simple days. That’s alright, we forgive them, it’s free. And free content, especially for Portal 2, is good with us.
