New Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer and Story Trailers

As the story trailer above puts on display, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the upcoming chapter in Ezio’s story that aims to “reveal” a lot of what’s been happening in both the foreground and background of this franchise’s plot. So far, each game has unearthed more questions than it’s answered, and the latest Assassin’s Creed managed to leave gamers with an almost stupefying cliffhanger.

Hopefully, as Ezio’s story draws to a close, we’ll be able to piece together more of the Assassin’s Creed puzzle than ever before. There will be loose ends, of course, as Ubisoft has already announced that they will be releasing another Assassin’s Creed next fall. This is a yearly franchise, folks, get used to it.

Not to be outdone, Ubisoft also elected to release a brand new multiplayer vignette. This clip shows off a little of what players will be able to do in game (assassinate one another, of course), but it also exhibits a bit of the corporate flare that comes from working with Abstergo. We immediately found ourselves hoping there’s a nice, thin line of story to be had in the multiplayer section of this title.

Here’s the vignette:

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next Tuesday, November 15th. We’ll have more on the game, its reception and any hiccups its launch may encounter as the information comes.
