Gaming for the Weekend – 7/9
We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we’ve decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.
Whether it’s Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you’re likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy
Jon Rettinger – President
I still can’t put down Ocarina of Time. I’m still early in the game, but for me, it’s all Zelda….going to party like it’s 1997!
Sean Aune – Editor in Chief
My name is Sean, and I have a Minecraft problem. I dream of blocks … I see the world in blocks … I think if I hit things they will now break into blocks I can pick up.
Jack McGrath – Contributing Editor
This weekend, I’ll continue playing Civilization 5. In the past, I haven’t particularly enjoyed turn-based strategy games, but I’m relatively sure that I’m addicted to Sid Meier’s iconic franchise. Other than that, I’ll be enjoying Minecraft, which is similarly addicting.
Joey Davidson – Video Games Editor
Sean and I have been working on something in Minecraft that we might actually be able to show you guys soon. So, there’s that. And it’s likely going to occupy a bit of my weekend.
But I’ve also got my hands on an early code for Ms. ‘Splosion Man. This is nothing I didn’t notice when I played it at PAX East a few months back, but the game feels bigger and faster. That’s a huge bonus for the fan-favorite franchise.
What are you playing this weekend?
