New Modern Warfare 3 Teaser Shows off New ‘Survival’ Mode

Activision unveiled a new teaser for Modern Warfare 3 yesterday, which I must have watched a good five or six times already today. The two-minute clip shows off some more spec ops gameplay with the new co-op ‘survival’ mode.

Survival pits you and a friend against wave after wave of enemies, which our own Joey Davidson appropriately describes as “horde mode meets zombie mode.” And though I’m not a massive fan of the zombie mode in previous Call of Duty titles, Modern Warfare 3′s survival gameplay looks super fun!

Unfortunately we’re still yet to see any multiplayer gameplay, which is what I’m really looking forward to, but we’ll get some of that during Call of Duty XP on September 2. In the meantime, check out this trailer and tell me it doesn’t look hugely entertaining.
