Leaked Sony Roadmap Hints at New Android Devices

It looks like Sony may have at least 12 new Android handsets planned for 2012. GSM Arena has acquired what appears to be Sony’s roadmap for 2012. On the map are 12 new handsets ranging in price from a few hundred dollars to the Hayabusa ( approximately $632) and Mint I (approximately $720) which are likely to be flagship handsets for the manufacturer when released.

The roadmap likely lists handsets Sony intends on distributing worldwide. So while we may see a few on the list in the U.S., it’s unlikely that any country will manage to get its hands on all 12.

Mobile World Congress is set for next month, and will likely be the stage for at least a few of Sony’s new announcements. The company has already sent out Save the Dates for its MWC press conference, indicating plans to share the “latest on our Xperia smartphone portfolio and strategy.”

What do you think Sony has planned for 2012?
