Galaxy S II Skyrocket Unboxing & Hands On (video)
The arrival of this phone may infuriate some, while others will no doubt jump for joy. Hardly a month after hitting AT&T, the Samsung Galaxy S II is going out of fashion thanks to the release of AT&T’s 4G LTE enabled Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
The Skyrocket landed on our doorstep this morning and, as you can tell in the video, we’re extremely excited to play with the device. It features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3.5, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB of on-board memory expandable to 32GB via microSD.
The Galaxy S II has become one of the most popular Android devices to hit the market, and we expect the Skyrocket to be another fan favorite. If you were saving your hard-earned dollars and fall in AT&T’s 4G market, Samsung’s latest may be the phone to get. The device will hit November 6 for $249.99 with a two-year contract. Check the video to see our unboxing and brief hands on, and stay tuned for future Skyrocket content.
