HTC Sense 3.5 Screenshot Gallery and HTC Bliss
Yesterday XDA China unleashed pictures of the HTC Bliss, which is a female-friendly Android device heading for Verizon, and today they made available several screenshots of HTC Sense 3.5 that will be running on the phone. Part of Sense 3.5′s creation was centered around its ability to support older devices, since HTC Sense 3.0 abandoned the dinosaurs in HTC’s smartphone fleet due to advanced hardware requirements. Form what we can detect, the main infrastructure of Sense has been kept similar to 3.0, though a few of the widgets look slightly redesigned.
On the Home screen front, it looks like one has been significantly altered with two round Menu and Call controls in addition to five tabs that run along the side of the screen including Internet and Data Management. XDA reports that the lock screen will remain similar to that of the Sensation 4G, though the UI is supposed to be (from translated Chinese) “more beautiful and perfect.” As if it wasn’t perfect enough. The notification bar has been changed, directly displaying the Wi-Fi network name right from within the menu. Although the gumshoes at XDA were given a preproduction sampling of the new Sense 3.5, they report that “the shipping version will likely be more excellent.” Check out our exclusive gallery:
