We’ve already heard that Google is preparing to launch a set of glasses with an embedded heads-up display. As ugly as we think they might be, we’re intrigued by the latest bit of information that was first reported by Geek.com Thursday morning. Reportedly, Google’s glasses will be equipped with not one, but two 0.52-inch micro displays. Geek.com also said the glasses will be demoed by Google during the company’s developer conference in June.

Earlier reports have also suggested that the glasses will run a version of Android and will allow a user to learn about his or her surroundings using augmented reality. The New York Times said Wednesday that the glasses will cost between $200 and $600 and will also feature support for 3G and 4G networks, which means they might end up on wireless store shelves. The glasses could be on consumer’s heads by the end of this year, too.
