Toshiba Excite Announced; Clocks in at a Mere 7.7mm Thick
We had been hearing about Toshiba releasing an ultra-thin tablet at IFA, and now it’s a reality. The Toshiba Excite (AT200) chimes in at a mere 7.7mm, coming in well below the previos record holder, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at 8.6mm. While one may think the market is flooded with Android tablets, this one should be a stand out at such a crazy thin dimensions.
It’s going to be difficult for anyone to get thinner than this as you have to leave space for the ports, but we’re sure more companies will give is a shot.
