Motorola Droid Bionic Will Get Ice Cream Sandwich Update

The Motorola Droid Bionic should be getting an Android Ice Cream Sandwich update, according to a recent comment thread on Facebook. The official Motorola Facebook page admin commented on a Droid Bionic owner’s post about the possibility of ICS coming to the Droid Bionic, and things went down like this:

Motorola might be scrambling their efforts to salvage their high-end phone lineup after the omnipotent Samsung Galaxy Nexus stole the thunder from the Motorola Droid RAZR at the beginning of this week. Furthermore, this “Sam Backus” character seems like a plant to me, setup by Motorola. Just take a gander at the wording of each of his posts, which sound like miniature press releases.
