LTE Devices Head to MetroPCS: Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G, LG Connect 4G

Not everything is about the four major cellular carriers. For its part, MetroPCS has a couple of new Android offerings from Samsung and LG to help whet its subscriberbase’s appetite for 4G — the Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G and LG Connect 4G.

Apart from LTE, the Samsung device doesn’t bring quite so much excitement, at least spec-wise. It offers a 3.5-inch display, 1GHz CPU, Android Gingerbread, rear 3 MP cam (1.3 MP front) and $200 price tag (for a limited time), so perhaps the fact that only customers who have the $50 or $60 plans will be able to snag this isn’t a cause for tears.

The LG Connect 4G, however, is looking a little tastier. There’s a 4-inch screen complete with Gorilla Glass gracing the front, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, and a 5 MP rear camera (with 720 vid capture), making it quite the respectable entry. There’s no price tag announced with this yet, but since it launches within a month, it won’t be long until we find out the cost.
