BlackBerry Bridge App Brings Your Phone and PlayBook Closer Together

BlackBerry Bridge appA new Bridge app has appeared on BlackBerry App World today that will allow you to get your BlackBerry phone and PlayBook tablet to work a little closer together.

Working with two devices can be a pain, but the new Bridge app released today will allow you  to access their contacts, calendar, email and BlackBerry messages on their phone or tablet via the Bridge app without a tethering feature, and it will even allow for the opening of attachments for emails.

What won’t be a part of the app for free, however, will be the browsing of the Internet or an intranet.  Functions such as those will still require you to have a tethering plan.

Basically this comes down to being an easy way to mirror your information between the two devices and allowing you to consume it in a way of your choosing.  And, hey, it’s free, so no harm in giving it a try.
