  • Received M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1988
  • Worked at IBM and Compaq before being hired by Steve Jobs to work at Apple
  • Served on and off as Apple CEO while Steve Jobs was out on medical hiatus before becoming full-time CEO
