Strangest Way to Kick Off Apple Event: Cards App?

It has to be the strangest way to kick off a press event ever. For some reason, Tim Cook and the Apple crew are so excited about its new Cards app that it decided to lead into the day’s announcements by unveiling this hot, very anticipated new integrated application. (Uh, not.)

Cards is a new app that allows users to pick from some templates and create a new greeting card, send it and track its postal delivery to its intended recipients.

In case there are a few of you who are super excited about this, October 12th will be your day for satisfaction, when this becomes available. As for the rest of us, well, we’ve still got the rest of the event to chew over.

More coming…
