This Enormous 900-Pound iPod Dock Needs Its Own Bedroom, Costs $30,000 [Video]

Do you ever feel like the biggest speakers money can buy just aren’t big enough for you? Then check out this enormous iPod dock called the iNuke Boom, which has been unveiled by Behringer at this year’s CES.

It weighs an incredible 900 pounds and is likely to need its own room in your home. But you’ll probably have to sell your home to buy it, because it costs $30,000. I’m assuming that the postage and packaging won’t be cheap, either.

Ready for more big numbers? Well, the iNuke features two 18-inch subwoofers, each running at 3,000 watts, and measures 8 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. I honestly don’t know how you get this thing through the door once it arrives at your house, but Behringer suggests “taking out a wall.”

The company has only received “a couple” of pre-orders, which is unsurprising when you really think about how much of a burden this thing’s going to be. While it does look pretty awesome, I don’t think the iNuke’s going to be all that popular.

What do you think of the iNuke Boom?
