iPhoto Gets Updated

Phil Schiller took the stage at the Apple Keynote to talk iPhoto early Wednesday morning.

New features allow for easier views of your photos in full screen mode.  Users can now use even more awesome slideshows featuring map “Places” annotations, allowing for users to see where the photos were taken.

iPhoto ’11 users can now populate Facebook and Flickr albums, as well as upload them to the various social networks.  In addition, users can now send photos in email form in templates, even multiple templates!

The new software offers better control with a new sharing control panel with Facebook comments and Flickr being pulled in.

Lastly,  a new “coffee table carousel” allows a new way of viewing photos and sending it to the press where Apple will print the photos and have them delivered, right to your residence!  Neat!

More developments to come.
