iPhone 5 Shipping In September?

Another day, another iPhone 5 rumor. Reuters is reporting this morning that the iPhone 5 will begin shipping in September. According to “three people with direct knowledge of the company’s supply chain” production of the next version of the phone will begin in July and August, with shipments starting in September.

The iPhone 4 was released in June of last year, the same month that it was announced. Rumors have also been circulating over the past few weeks that a white version of the iPhone 4 will be released before the end of the month. The iPhone 4 is currently only available in black (and by the way, we’re giving away an unlocked 32GB one).

What do you think about the possibility of an iPhone 5 delay? Do you think the phone will be released in September rather than the traditional June? Will a September release date affect your decision to buy one?
