iPhone 5 Coming In 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Flavors?
It looks like the iPhone 5 may be coming in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes.
Speaking to 9to5Mac, an anonymous tipster calling himself “Mr. X” indicated the next version of the phone would be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and in both black and white, just like the company’s iconic iPad. The information is based on information found in Apple’s inventory system that indicates the company is releasing three versions of the handset. The mystery third handset might also be a smaller 8GB version.
With the addition of iCloud in iOS5, there’s not a dramatic need to have tons of on-board storage on your iPhone. I currently have a 32GB phone and have yet to personally run into issue where I wished I had more storage.
What do you think? Is there a need for a 64GB iPhone? What about an 8GB one?
