iPhone 4S Apple Care+ Option Now Extended to 30 Days

Sprint AppleCare Extended

If you decided to skip picking up AppleCare+ when you bought your iPhone 4S, you were pretty much out of luck when it came to obtaining a warrant. It seems someone finally told Apple how silly this policy was.

According to sources that sent the above image to SprintFeed, Apple is now going to give you 30 days to purchase the protection plan.  If you purchased a new iPhone at launch, you’ve also been given a chance to buy it up until December 15.

Deciding to plop down an extra $99 on the same day as you just bought an expensive new phone can be a bit of a sticking point for some, so it only really makes sense to give you a 30 day grace period to add this on to your account.  Why Apple decided to forego this originally is anyone’s guess, but it has now been corrected, and we definitely say that’s for the better.

Will you be picking up AppleCare+ post purchase now?
