First Music Video, Shot On iPhone 4S

One of the most hyped features of the new iPhone 4S is the camera. Bigger lens, more pixels (8 MP), stabilization controls, etc… This should be a beast when it comes to visual capture, at least for mobiles.

But how good is its 1080p video capture? Well, we now have a music video, the first ever to be filmed on the Apple smartphone (actually, two of them, and then edited on Final Cut Pro). The Turnback shot a video for its new single, “Cellophane Sky,” using New York’s Webster Hall as a backdrop.

“On October 14th, 2011 we received 2 brand new iPhone 4S smart phones. On Sunday October 16th we shot the video at the famous NYC nightclub Webster Hall. Over the next several days, with little sleep and lots of coffee, the final video was finished.

Here is it is, for your perusal. Take a look and tell us what you think: Worthy or no?
