Apple’s Let’s Talk iPhone Event Now Available Online

In typical Apple style, the iPhone 4S announcement was not streamed on the web for those who were couldn’t make the trip (or weren’t invited) to Cupertino.

If you’re an Apple fan who wants to watch Tim Cook’s first product announcement as Apple CEO (or are looking for something to help put you to sleep later on tonight) the full iOS event is now available to watch in its entirety on Apple’s website.

Highlights from the event include a recap of what you can expect from iOS 5 on October 12, the introduction of Siri, Apple’s new voice-recognition function, and the debut of Cards, an application which allows you to buy and send greeting cards directly from your iOS device.

You can check out the full video of the event here.

For those of you who have watched the video, what do you think of Tim Cook’s first big announcement? Is he doing a good job filling Steve Jobs‘ shoes?
