Apple Sends Out Premature iCloud Welcome Letters

It looks like someone at Apple was a little too excited about the upcoming launch of iCloud. Some customers, including one AppleInsider reader, have already received emails welcoming to the service; however, the email includes a link to instructions on how to get started with the service that instead links to an inactive page on Apple’s website.

iCloud is set to officially launch in the next few weeks along with iOS 5 and the newest iPhone. The service replaces Apple’s current MobileMe service and makes it easy to sync content on several devices, back up photos, and access content you may have stored on one device on another.

Did any of you get the early welcome message?
