Apple Offers ‘Jetpack Joyride’ for Free If You Like the App Store

Jetpack Joyride for free

I’m a big fan of Halfbrick Studios’ iOS games, in particular those that feature the lovable Barry Steakfries. Age of Zombies is one of my favorite games on the iPad, but it’s followed closely behind by Halfbrick’s latest release, Jetpack Joyride.

If you’re not familiar with the release, here’s a little excerpt from its App Store description, which is guaranteed to leave you wanting more:

Join Barry as he breaks in to a secret laboratory to commandeer the experimental jetpacks from the clutches of science evildoers. After lift-off, simply touch the screen to ascend and release to descend, raining bullets, bubbles, rainbows and lasers downwards as you fly towards higher and higher scores.

You’ll start off with the legendary Machine Gun Jetpack to scatter the evil scientists, but throughout each game you’ll collect coins and complete missions to earn cash and buy new gear in The Stash! Pick your favorite jetpack, snazzy outfit and stock up on items then get back out there for more action!

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? It’ll certainly keep boredom at bay this weekend, and there’s never been a better time to get your hands on the release, because Apple is giving Jetpack Joyride away!

You can get the game, which is compatible with both the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, completely free — simply by liking the App Store on Facebook. All you have to do is visit the App Store page on Facebook and hit the ‘Like’ button; you’ll then by send a promo code to redeem the game. You will, of course, need a Facebook account.

The offer is only available for a limited time, so get your hands on it before it’s too late.
