While it’s almost certain that Apple won’t be announcing any new hardware this Thursday at their education event, all eyes will still be turned on New York City at 10 AM EST to see just what the heck the company has up its sleeve.

Announced last week while the industry was in Las Vegas for CES 2012, Apple sent out an invite to an education event happening in New York City that is rumored to focus on something to do with textbooks. The belief is that this will involve the iPad and is set to “revolutionize” the text book industry as we know it.
