Six New Nikon Coolpix Compact Cameras Announced Today
Today, Nikon yanked the cloak off of six new Nikon compact cameras, ranging from point-and-shoots to performance shooters, and finally to the company’s first rugged camera. The Nikon Coolpix P7100 is the long-awaited follow-up to last year’s Coolpix P7000 while the Nikon Coolpix S1200pj replaces the built-in-projector-capable S1100pj. We also get a chance to see Nikon’s first rugged camera, the Nikon Coolpix AW100, which will be put through a treacherous TechnoBuffalo torture ring as soon as it’s available. Nikon has also spiffed up their fleet with the Nikon Coolpix S8200 and announced the Nikon Coolpix S6200 and Nikon Coolpix S100 point-and-shoot compacts as well. Check out the highlights of each camera below, and be sure to let us know which ones you want to see us review!
