Nokia (N9?) Prototype Hands On - Video

Posted on June 30th, 2010 in Mobile Devices, nokia, prototype 0 Comments

Thanks to the good folks at Negri Electronics we were able to get a few minutes of alone time with Nokia’s newest handset, the presumed N8 successor, the appropriately named N9.  If this is indeed an N series device, the the S60 operating system it’s running is just for testing purposes, as the old Symbian platform won’t make its way on any more N devices, replaced by the newer MeeGo OS.  From a spec standpoint, this guy is pretty packed to the gills, including:

  • NAM 3G Bands (850/1900)
  • nHD Display (640 X 360)
  • 4″ Capacitive multi-touch display
  • Front facing camera (VGA?) with LED Flash
  • Rear 8MPX camera with Dual LED Flash
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • HDMI Out
