Lenovo’s next Moto smartphone will launch in July, the company’s CEO, Yuanqing Yang, recently revealed. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland he promised an exciting new device that’s “more innovative, more attractive.”

It’s unclear if Yang is talking about a new flagship phone or something closer to the mid-range Moto G. Either way we’re excited to see what the company has planned. Lenovo previously hinted that it could be bringing fingerprint sensors to the Moto series, but later backtracked on that statement. One leaked image even revealed a metal handset with a huge rear camera, though it’s possible that was a fake.

Motorola’s stuck to a pretty consistent design language for the past few years, and it seems to be working. That doesn’t mean Lenovo won’t decide to change things up this summer, we just hope the new device still feels like a part of the Moto family.
