Apple has a lot to discuss next week, and it wants the whole world to watch as everything unfolds live. The iPhone maker said it will offer live video from its special event, which has generated plenty of mystery as we get close to the Sept. 9 date. We already know the iPhone 6 will be featured, but it sounds like that’ll only be a small portion of what’s unveiled, as the iWatch and iPad Air 2 are also expected to make an appearance.
“Live video from our special event will be right here,” Apple said. “And so will a whole lot more.” When Apple sent out invites last week, the company coyly said, “Wish we could say more.”
A countdown clock is included on the company’s homepage; the actual event is set to kick off on Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. PDT. There’s even an easy one-click link to add the event to your calendar. Are you busy that day? I would cancel whatever it is you have planned (or are obligated to attend) and follow along with all of Apple’s announcements.
In addition to new Apple products, the company is also expected to detail a new mobile payment system. Only 4 days, 21 hours, 59 minutes and 50 seconds to go (as of this writing).
