YouTube Uploads Xbox One

Starting tomorrow, Xbox One gamers will be able to record gameplay footage on their system, edit it with the Upload Studio and upload their fresh clips directly to their YouTube channels.

Microsoft has announced that an incoming YouTube app update will allow uploads from consoles.

The Xbox Wire breaks down the upload feature in their recent post sharing today’s news.

Game DVR and Upload are among the most used apps on Xbox One. We know how important it is to be able to easily watch and share video clips, and starting tomorrow we’re rolling out an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One that integrates Game DVR and Upload with YouTube**, making it easier than ever to capture and share game clips with the world.

Now, use Game DVR to capture epic gaming moments, edit them in Upload Studio, and, with the simple click of a button inside the YouTube app (look for My Uploads**), share them instantly to your YouTube channel.

But wait, there’s more.

When Microsoft unveiled the Snap feature for the Xbox One, a lot of potential gamers hoped it would allow them to watch walkthrough videos while playing through tougher segments of the game. It’s too bad snapping YouTube and watching videos while gaming simply wasn’t an option.

Now? It is.

The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode…

Nice.

The update will roll out tomorrow. Given the new ease of uploading gameplay footage directly to YouTube from the Xbox One, do you think you’ll be even more likely to share clips of your gaming exploits with the internet at large?
