Apple on Friday released a minor update that promises to fix issues surrounding SSL connection verification. The latest software push brings Apple users up to iOS 7.0.6, a small step toward a much larger update to iOS 7.1, which is expected to launch in March. Apple hasn’t said exactly what was going wrong with SSL verifications, though the issue has seemingly been fixed.
While the latest software update is relatively small, hopefully it just means users will have even less issues to complain about when iOS 7.1 becomes available. Apple’s next big software update will supposedly bring some design improvements, and hopefully address the problem that caused some devices to restart for no reason.
You can wait for your device to ping you with a notification, or head into your settings to pull the update down manually.
