As we posted last night, the Titanfall beta registration period has begun. You can register for either the Xbox One or PC versions of the game, and there’s no purchase requirement or pre-order demand.
You’ll need Origin to play the PC version.
Today, we have a fresh trailer from the Australian arm of EA’s PR machine. You’ll see that at the head of this post. If you’re looking forward to Titanfall already, this trailer does a nice job of reminding you why. The game looks intense.
There’s been no word on whether or not player progression in the beta will be transferred over to the full game when it launches, though we have our fingers crossed for some unique badges or in-game flare.
Titanfall is the first effort from the recently formed Respawn Entertainment. For those unfamiliar with the studio’s origin, it was started by former Call of Duty developers after they left Activision.
Titanfall will launch for the Xbox One and PC on March 11. The Xbox 360 version of the game was recently delayed until March 25, 2014. We’ll have more on the title as it comes.
