Rumors have been flying that LG will take another shot at the tablet market with an 8.3-inch G Pad. Now, the South Korean company appears to have confirmed earlier reports, teasing the device in a new ad on YouTube. The commercial doesn’t actually show the G Pad, instead featuring a handful of man-on-the-street interviews in which consumers are asked what they want in a tablet.
The answers give us an idea of what the G Pad 8.3 may look like, hinting at a pocket-sized slate with a fast processor and an HD display that’s great for watching movies. LG also suggests that the tablet will seamlessly sync with your other devices and cloud-based services.
LG doesn’t mention when the G Pad will be unveiled in the short video, but according to a recent report the company may make an official announcement next week at IFA. The Android tablet is also expected to come equipped with a Full HD Plus 1920 x 1200-pixel display, a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and aluminum casing.
