Google’s upcoming Nexus 7 successor will be available at Best Buy on July 30, according to the retailer’s internal inventory. In a screen capture acquired by 9to5Google, the in-stock date shows the new tab will be available less than a week after Google’s planned Android-focused event in San Francisco on July 24. A previous report suggested the new device would be available at Staples on July 31.
We’ve already seen a Best Buy ad confirming the price of the new Nexus 7, it was just a matter of when the device would be available. Once the device does launch, it’ll reportedly sport a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 7-inch Full HD display, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.3. Google will likely unveil the device tomorrow, meaning we’ll finally be able to put all the rumors to rest real soon.
Start mowing lawns now, because Google’s next great small tab will be available in a matter of days. If previous reports are to be believed, the device will start out at $229 and go all the way up $269.
