I hope you reserved your PlayStation 4, because it seems to be the hot item of the holiday season. GameStop has burned through the allocated number of pre-orders that it is allowed to sell, and who knows how long it will take to get your hands on the console.
The console recently became listed as “not-available” on the gaming retailer’s website, and it also confirmed with Game Informer magazine that pre-orders are no longer available at either the online market or in stores.
“Due to high demand for the system, GameStop is not currently taking additional store reservations for the PlayStation 4.”
Sony has been on a winning streak since E3, and the console is all the rage thanks to its cheaper price and commitment to the status quo on gaming distribution. Sony must be happy about the news, but those who are left without a PlayStation 4 this console season must be feeling a little steamed at the moment.
Better head somewhere else before they sell out as well.
