Apple officially launched its annual back-to-school promotion today, following reports published yesterday suggesting that the sale was imminent.. Starting July 2 through September 6, eligible customers will receive a $100 gift card for buying Mac computers and a $50 card with the purchase of an iPhone or iPad. Gift cards can be redeemed through Apple’s App Store, iTunes Store or iBookstore.
The company’s back-to-school deals apply for Macs and iPads at all Apple Retails Stores, the official online store and authorized Apple campus sellers. However, the promo only applies to iPhone sales made through Apple’s own stores or its website, which makes sense since this is the first year the company is including its flagship smartphone.
Of course, the promo is only available for college students and their parents. For more info check out Apple’s website, which is also putting the spotlight on a number of education-related accessories to go along with your new MacBooks, iPads and iPhones.
