What was once a Wii U exclusive has now been confirmed to release for at least three additional platforms. Rayman Legends is still set to launch for the Wii U. It’s also known that the game will hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on the same day, news that hit the Nintendo crowd hard when the title was delayed earlier this year.
Now, Ubisoft has announced that Rayman Legends will also sprint its way onto the PS Vita. The only platforms without the game are the Nintendo 3DS and the PC. I’m sure at least one of those will get it as well.
As an aside, I played through Rayman Origins a third time on my PS Vita. While the missing couch cooperative play was a bummer, the game felt and looked wonderful.
Rayman Legends is slated to hit each system on September 3rd, 2013 in North America. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
